Air Duct Sanitizers

After air duct cleaning, Ocean Air Care uses an EPA-registered sanitizer and deodorizer to keep your HVAC and duct system clean and free of harmful microorganisms, particulates and odors

When you hire an air duct cleaning service to clean and service your HVAC and duct system, you want to know it is thoroughly clean. Ocean Air Care takes our service one step further to proactively improve indoor air quality and prevent the possible development of “sick building syndrome.” We use sanitizers and deodorizers – registered with the EPA – to ensure that your HVAC and duct systems are thoroughly clean.

After air duct cleaning, Ocean Air Care uses sanitizer to control the causes of “sick building syndrome.”

C-One Sanitizer for HVAC Systems and Air Ducts controls and inhibits the growth of microorganisms – such as gram positive and gram negative bacteria, and mold – that form a biofilm on cooling coils and other working parts of HVAC/R systems and Air Ducts. A biofilm on HVAC/R coils causes increased operating costs as it interferes with the heat transfer process. Treatment of the coils with BBJ Maintain C-1, with its exclusive rust and corrosion inhibiting action, can make systems run more efficiently and last longer. Furthermore, HVAC systems spread these harmful contaminants – which may cause odors, damage surfaces and secrete toxic byproducts – to living and working areas. C-One Sanitizer controls contaminants that often cause poor indoor air quality and "sick building syndrome" at the source – the HVAC system. It also prevents damage caused by plugged drains by eliminating slime deposits. And it makes system cleaning easier and faster. C-One Sanitizer is effective in extending the useful life of HVAC/R units while increasing overall energy efficiency by keeping fins and coils cleaner.

C-One Sanitizer is registered with the EPA for the following applications: flexible ducts fabricated of metal or plastic, unlined sheet metal ducts, air handlers, cooling coils, fan coil units, condensate drain pans, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, registers, grills, diffusers, fans, and fan housings, transfer boxes, turning vane, return ducts and plenums, rooftop units.

Deodorizer improves indoor air quality safely.

Air ducts – as well as crawl spaces, attics, basements, above ceiling spaces, offices, processing and other areas – are often sources of odors caused by smoke, pets, cooking, spoilage and other foul odors. AirDuct Odor Eliminator is specially formulated to control odors and other sources of indoor pollution gently but effectively. It freshens and deodorizes interiors of both lined and unlined duct-work. Air Duct contains an encapsulation control agent that controls odors by both encapsulating and breaking down odor molecules, while time releasing a fresh fragrance. It encapsulates odors at the source, it does not just cover them up.
